- Performs entry-level training work; maintains refresher training records and compiles reports on training programs.
- Maintains student registrations and coordinates training locations for refresher and specialty classes.
- Presents courses during new employee orientation and refresher sessions to ensure compliance with minimum training requirements and competency on the job.
- Assists in development of curriculum and preparation of other training materials related to staff training and development.
- Works under close supervision with minimal latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
- Prefer experience working directly with a developmentally disabled population.
- Attends work regularly and may be required to work a specific or rotating shift schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency policy.
- Conducts facility training using approved curriculum and procedures; assists by teaching SUR/UKERU, CPR, ANE, and Van Driving.
- Maintains employee training records in systems such as TIMS and reports on training data.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support agency obligations.
- Attend work regularly; may be required to work specific or rotating schedules, including overtime as permitted by policy.
- Support training activities including orientation, refresher training, and continuing education with standard procedures and equipment.
- Maintain and update training records and related documentation.
- Operate standard office equipment and software as required.
- Other duties as assigned to meet agency obligations.
Experience and skills preferred: platform trainer or teaching experience; curriculum development; ability to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, and extend arms and legs as needed.
