Position OverviewThis position builds collaborative relationships with students to develop meaningful educational goals consistent with personal interests, values and abilities. The advisor is responsible for advising students on degree/program requirements and course scheduling; maintains and updates student status, records, transcript evaluations, degree plan audits, and graduation applications.

Job Duties
- Advise students individually and in group settings regarding degree requirements and University and College Policies. Make referrals to campus offices as necessary.
- Prepare and update degree audits/degree plans to include evaluating and applying transfer work in accordance with University and College policies.
- Process graduation packets and degree plans as assigned to meet College and University deadlines.
- Present Ryan College of Business degree information at new student orientations and major changer groups.
- Engage in special projects as assigned: e.g., letters, handouts, retention and recruitment initiatives.
- Contribute to the overall organizational health and performance of the Ryan College of Business Undergraduate Programs Office through teamwork, knowledge sharing, professional development and professional relationship building.
- Demonstrate commitment and ability to support a diverse group of individuals within the academic community.
