Department Summary

The Honors College helps approximately 2,000 undergraduate students get the most out of their UNT experience by providing in-class and extracurricular activities that are broader, deeper, or more complex than the norm. Honors College members may take Honors courses, engage in undergraduate research, participate in Honors College programming, live in Honors College housing, and enjoy other membership benefits. Membership is open to students from all majors.

Admission decisions are made based on a holistic review of application materials, including transcripts, a personal statement, and a resume.
