• In depth knowledge of U.S. export regulations (EAR, ITAR, OFAC) and customs procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.

• Proficiency with ERP/SAP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; comfortable working with global customers and government agencies.

What You Will Be Doing

The US Export Manager is responsible for steering all export related activities for the United States, acting as the central authority on compliance, logistics, and documentation. In this role you will develop and execute a comprehensive export strategy that align with program objectives, while leading a cross functional team of logistics, compliance, and documentation specialists to ensure seamless end to end shipment processes.

You will oversee the preparation of export paperwork (commercial invoices, Electronic Export Information, certificates of origin, etc.) and manage customs clearance to guarantee timely delivery. By maintaining strict adherence to U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and sanctions programs, you will protect the company from regulatory risk. The position also requires close coordination with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal departments (engineering, finance, legal) to optimize shipping routes, control costs, and resolve any export related issues.

Through regular performance tracking, goal setting, and reporting to senior leadership, you will drive continuous improvement and ensure that the export function supports the organization’s global operations effectively.

Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
