Job Type: Part Time, Internship, Full Time

Our easy-to-use tenant service and operator software combined with our Smart Unit and Smart Zone sensors have enabled self-storage facilities nationally to modernize their operations, monetize offerings, and maximize experience.
While the initial internship is for 1 semester, high performing interns are often extended to subsequent semesters and provided the opportunity for full-time employment with career advancement.
Role Overview :As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Storage Defender, you will play a key role in driving sales growth by identifying and qualifying leads working alongside an Account Executive. The BDR is responsible for researching and generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospects, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Generation: Use various methods, including outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach, to identify and qualify leads.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with prospects, understanding their storage needs and providing relevant information about Storage Defender's products and services.
- CRM Management: Keep accurate records of leads, prospects, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work with sales and marketing teams to transition qualified leads to the sales team for further development.
- Follow-Up: Conduct regular follow-up with leads to maintain their interest.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to effectively position Storage Defender's offerings.
- Targets and Goals: Meet or exceed individual and team targets for lead generation and prospecting.
- Education: Completed or In Progress Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
