Responsibilities
This opportunity is a full time 16-week Seasonal Assignment. Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. The main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. In addition, the center has numerous facilities throughout the Texoma region.
The purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Nursing will also provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, with a focus on Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence standards. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations provide guidelines for competent, safe and professional practice.

QualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN)
Job Requirements:
- Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
- One year full time experience in an acute care setting.
- RQI BLS and ACLS required.
- STABLE and NRP within 6 months.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting.
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
- Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served.
