Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Additionally, nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Requirements:

• Education per RN licensure requirements. BSN preferred.
• Rehab work experience preferred.
• Current RN State License or compact. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. ACLS preferred. Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) preferred.
• Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served. Must have strong communication and time management skills. Maintains patient rehabilitation transfer limitations (total hip precautions, weight bearing limitations, etc.) Able to correctly apply orthotics and CPM machines as instructed by therapy.
