Position: REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - CARDIAC-PRN

Responsibilities

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has provided quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, with facilities throughout the Texoma region. The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Nursing provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

  • Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
  • One year of full-time experience in an acute care setting.
  • RQI BLS and ACLS required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines; all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. See additional department proficiency requirements above.
  • Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
  • Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served.
