Position SummaryProvides evaluation and treatment of patients referred by medical staff; provides clinical expertise to the multidisciplinary therapy staff, and serves as a resource for the physical therapy staff for clinical guidance, practice and ethics. Provides supervision for PT/PTA student education programs.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients referred by medical staff.
- Provide clinical expertise to multidisciplinary therapy staff.
- Serve as a resource for physical therapy staff in clinical guidance, practice, and ethics.
- Supervise PT/PTA student education programs.
- Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy.
- Licensed by the State of Texas (required).
- Completed Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider course before clinical work.
- Able to commute between facilities in a timely manner.
- Strong knowledge of advanced therapy skills and competencies.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
