CLINICAL INPATIENT DIETITIAN – PRN

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing the nutritional status of the inpatient/outpatient population; developing a nutritional plan of care and implementing Medical Nutrition Therapy alongside an interdisciplinary team. The Registered Dietitian will assist training and performance improvement as needed, and provide education to the community periodically.

• Assess patients' nutritional status and develop individualized nutritional plans.
• Implement Medical Nutrition Therapy with interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with training and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide periodic education to the community and staff.

• BS degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics required.
• One-year experience as a dietitian in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Registered Dietician/Licensed Dietician registered in state of Texas; or RD eligible.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course completed prior to clinical work.
• Good written and oral communication skills required.
• Typing, basic computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
