School Age Child Care. Job Type: Part-Time. Rate: $11.50-$13.50 based on experience. Bonus: $200 signing bonus. This is a school-year position requiring approximately 10-25 hours per week dependent on your position. This will also include School Day Out days at the YMCA.

Hours:

6:00 AM - 8:30 AM.

• Under the supervision and guidance of the School Age Child Care & Preschool Director, supervise children and execute the Y BASE program.
• Provide quality programming and serve as a role model to staff and participants.
• Plan and prepare daily activities to engage children in meaningful learning opportunities.
• Communicate with elementary school staff with professionalism and respect.
• Adhere to all Geneva Lakes Family YMCA disciplinary policies and communicate with children on a consistent basis regarding all expectations.
• Follow Geneva Lakes Family YMCA and the elementary school’s emergency procedures to ensure the safety of all children.
• Communicate with the School Site Director and/or School Age Child Care and Camp Director regarding any emergency concerns or situations.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work and program spaces at all times.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
• Uphold and exemplify the policies and guidelines of the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA and the elementary school at all times.
• Ensure licensing compliance with Wisconsin DCF 252.

• Minimum age of 18 years old and a high school diploma.
• $100 signing bonus at start and $100 signing bonus at end of 2026 school year.
• Have a sincere interest and ability to comprehend the needs of children to develop positive outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must complete paid four Praesidium Child Abuse courses prior to start date.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of Abusive Head Trauma Prevention course.
• Must pass FBI Fingerprint Background Check prior to start date.
