Permanent Entry Level Civil Engineer - Land Development team

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

This position presents an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of tasks within residential subdivision projects, site layout design, and more. You will be working in a fast‑paced environment where every project presents unique challenges and opportunities to learn.

As a member of an enthusiastic and dynamic team, you will provide technical support and contribute to the design and planning stages of various projects.

• Assist in the preparation of site development designs, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
• Participate in the design and preparation of construction documents for residential subdivision projects.
• Utilize Civil 3D software to create and modify civil engineering design plans.
• Conduct site investigations and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
• Contribute to project meetings and liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders as required.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Continually update skills and knowledge in the area of civil engineering and land development to ensure competence and compliance with current standards and technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, land development, site design, or a related field.
• Proficient with Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
• Familiarity with residential subdivision design and site layout.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality work.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for site visits.
