A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Operative to join the Maintenance team at our Denham site. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operations, ensuring our site remains clean, safe and well-maintained both internally and externally. If you’re practical, safety-conscious and enjoy working in a team environment where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment by:

• Collecting, storing and processing recyclable waste materials into the correct waste streams for collection
• Emptying waste and recycling bins across the site
• Operating industrial baling and compacting machinery
• Keeping all external grounds clean, tidy and well maintained
• Carrying out reactive tasks such as lifting & shifting, furniture moves and equipment moves
• Operating forklifts and electric vehicles (including towing where required)
• Conducting operational safety checks on departmental vehicles and equipment
• Supporting the wider Facilities Management Team with ad-hoc duties
• Reporting hazards, unsafe practices or faulty equipment to ensure safe site operations

• Knowledge of waste stream and recycling procedures (metals, plastics, cardboard etc.)
• Clean UK driving licence
• Experience working with vehicles and machinery
• General Health & Safety awareness within an operational environment
• Comfortable handling heavy loads
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
