This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside our Engineering Sourcing and Operations Support Team.
The position is responsible for supporting sourcing and operations functions by managing the investigation of issues related to obsolescence and DMS on existing designs and products, capturing corrective actions and managing design change, in line with regulatory and customer requirements and in line with the engineering specification, including associated international civil and military standards as well as MBA requirements. It will also require generation of customer reporting related to obsolescence issues.
You will be involved in the effective workload planning, management and prioritisation of wider engineering team tasks, generation of design change reviews and corresponding reports and presentations and 8D investigation documentation is also required to support change in the design. As is the necessity to work effectively with internal and external customers to achieve the optimum design through in-depth consultation with all project stakeholders.
