NDT Level 2 Technician

Denham | £37,000–£43,000 | Permanent | Days

A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is looking for an NDT Level 2 Technician. The role involves carrying out non‑destructive testing on safety‑critical components used in military aviation, working to strict technical and compliance standards.

What you’ll be doing

Carrying out NDT activities (X‑Ray, MPI, DPI) to defined procedures and technical specifications

Setting up and assembling test items in line with company drawings and work instructions

Monitoring shielding levels in radiographic facilities to ensure compliance with national safety regulations

Conducting chemical checks for DPI/MPI processes

Producing and maintaining accurate test, inspection and traceability documentation

Interpreting engineering drawings, technical specs and test procedures

Using SAP to record work status, manage component batches and update records

Ensuring all activities meet quality, safety and COSHH requirements

Supporting training for new starters and contributing to process improvements

What you need

Minimum:
Level 1 NAS
410 or EN4179 certification

Required:

Level 2 PCN or Level 2 NAS
410/EN4179 in X‑Ray, MPI and DPI

Experience in production manufacturing or aerospace testing

Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings

Understanding of H&S policies, including COSHH

Basic PC skills and familiarity with SAP

Experience using inspection tools and computerised inspection systems

What’s on offer

£37,000–£43,000 (experience‑dependent)

Days: 08:00–17:00 Mon–Thu / 08:00–12:00 Fri
