S J Bargh is a leader in specialised logistics to the milk industry, general haulage, palletised distribution network, Scania Parts Dealership and third-party HGV vehicle repairs and management to customers throughout the UK. Here at S J Bargh, we have an opportunity for a Class 1 or 2 HGV Driver (Nights) to join the team based in Denbigh.
You will be collecting milk from farmers premises and delivering to dairies or unloading into trailers.
Work is on a rota pattern and involves weekends, bank holidays and Christmas if scheduled on shift.
Available shift patterns: 5,2/5,3
Rates of Pay:
Basic rates of pay per shift from £161.60 - £171.60 (Higher rate is Class
1)
Basic salary £39,600 - £41,870 (Higher rate obtained through Class 1 which is not guaranteed)
Additional hours paid based on weekly cumulative hours met.
Additional shifts may be available at enhanced rates from £190 - £229.
What skills & qualifications do you need?- Hold a valid licence Category CE
- Have a relevant up to date DCPC qualification
- Have excellent timekeeping skills
- Be able to work alone and as part of a team
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a high standard of cleanliness
- Be responsible for ensuring all your daily duties linked to legal compliance and legislation are strictly adhered to
