Fixed term contract for 6 to 7 months to cover maternity leave

Essential Requirements
  • Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management and Leadership or equivalent Registered Manager Award
  • Strong leadership and team management experience within adult services
  • Knowledge of RISCA regulations
  • Experience managing adults with enduring mental health needs and co occurring physical health needs
  • Ability to manage clinical oversight and medication systems
  • Full flexibility to participate in on call
  • A nursing qualification is advantageous but not essential
The Role

We are supporting a national care provider to appoint a Registered Manager for a well established adult mental health service in the Denbigh area.

You will hold full operational responsibility for the service, ensuring high quality, person centred care delivery aligned to regulatory and organisational standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Managing and leading a multidisciplinary team including nurses and support workers
  • Delivering supervision, appraisals, competency assessments and team meetings
  • Overseeing care planning, risk assessments and clinical governance
  • Ensuring safe medication management systems and accurate record keeping
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance in line with RISCA standards
  • Driving service culture, performance and staff wellbeing
  • Participating in the on call rota
  • Ensuring the service environment meets required quality standards

This is a hands on leadership role requiring resilience, accountability and strong operational oversight.
