The Role
As Minerals Programme Lead, you will manage and support TdH NL’s global programs focused on child protection and rights within mineral supply chains. You provide strategic, technical, and operational guidance to ensure effective program design, implementation, and monitoring aligned with TdH NL’s Listen Up! strategy. This role combines strategic oversight, program development, compliance, capacity strengthening, and external representation. You will foster partnerships, contribute to advocacy efforts, and ensure programs deliver meaningful, sustainable impact for children worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Programme Design & Development

Develop and harmonize program frameworks aligned with TdH NL’s strategic objectives and theories of change;

Design evidence-based intervention models and provide technical guidance for implementation;

Collaborate with MEAL teams to ensure program quality and impact;

Identify funding opportunities, develop proposals, and establish partnerships;

Create toolkits and resources for internal and external stakeholders.

Programme Management & Delivery

Provide strategic direction to ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget;

Oversee monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting to inform decision-making;

Implement safeguarding and accountability frameworks across programs;

Facilitate sharing of best practices and continuous improvement.

Networking, Fundraising & Representation

Cultivate relationships with donors, UN agencies, NGOs, governments, and private sector actors;

Work with Engagement teams to secure funding and develop quality proposals;

Represent TdH NL externally and contribute to advocacy and campaigning efforts.

Capacity Strengthening

Build capacity of teams and partners through training and technical guidance;

Mentor staff and partners on program design, implementation, and compliance;

Integrate global standards into program frameworks.

Advocacy & Lobbying

Design and implement advocacy strategies to address systemic issues;

Engage stakeholders to influence policies and practices;

Contribute to TdH NL’s global advocacy and communication activities.

Financial & Administrative Support

Monitor budgets and collaborate with finance teams for sound financial planning;

Organize meetings, workshops, and events to foster collaboration.

What You Bring

Experience in program management, advocacy, and technical support, preferably in child protection, humanitarian action, or sustainable development;

Proven expertise in designing and implementing evidence-based programs and interventions;

Strong knowledge of international standards (CHS, CPMS) and sustainable business practices;

Success in partnership management, fundraising, and resource mobilization;

Expertise in advocacy, influencing strategies, and child participation;

Familiarity with international and EU policies on child protection and labor rights;

Excellent skills in training, mentoring, and capacity building;

Commitment to child safeguarding and inclusion.
