Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Freelance EHS COORDINATOR OFFSHORE WIND (ZZP)

Are you the driven EHS expert who stands firm, both literally and figuratively, on the open seas? For Siemens Energy, we are looking for two strategic EHS Coordinators to take responsibility for safety during a large-scale retrofit campaign at the HKZ and HKN wind farms. Between April and October 2026, you will ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protection from a Service Operation’s Vessel (SOV).

As an EHS Coordinator Offshore at Siemens Energy, you are the crucial link in a 24/7 operation. While 139 turbines at HKZ and 69 at HKN are being upgraded, you will monitor risks during work on electrical apparatus and hydraulic systems. You are not just an advisor to management, but also the hands‑on specialist leading RCA investigations and verifying contractor compliance.

Working in a rotation of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, you directly contribute to the energy transition under challenging conditions.

You recognize yourself in the following:
  • You possess extensive technical knowledge of WTG works, specifically hydraulic and mechanical experience.
  • You are physically capable of accessing WTGs equipped with your own PPE and are fluent with the rescue training used on the platform at the site.
  • You are mandatory fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • You have experience completing RCA investigations onsite and leading/communicating CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • You are prepared to work in a 2-week on, 2-week off offshore rotation.

Additionally, you have a proven track record in monitoring EHS concerns within complex organizations and are skilled at analyzing statistical information to provide advice on remedial actions.
