Dietary Aide​/Cook PRN

Crowne Health Care is currently accepting applications for a PRN Dietary Aide / Cook within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.

• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Able to follow instructions
• Experience with commercial kitchen appliances
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina
• Experience in food service preferred
• Reliable transportation required
• Part time or full time

• Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
• Cooking meals following specific procedures
• Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
• Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items
• Staying current on the individual procedures, protocols and education for the facility, including state-specified rules and regulations
• Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
