Foster Poultry Farms is always looking for talented individuals to join the Foster Poultry Farms Team.
The Training Ambassador will train new hires by demonstrating job tasks, processes, and procedures. This role will observe all plant equipment with intent of recommending continuous equipment improvement and reliability. This role works closely with the department supervisors, other department leads, and processing team members, in order to accomplish accuracy within the processing department and to ensure that our customers receive quality products.
This position executes processes that ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations, supporting Foster Poultry Farms’ mission, vision, and ACTION guiding principles:

- Record new hire's job performance on proficiency sheet.
- Must be able to understand staffing requirements on lines for different product run and adjust staffing and training, in coordination with line supervisor.
- Conduct plant tours for applicants.
- Must be able to give new hire orientations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours on a wet concrete floor
- Must be able to withstand a cold (40-48 degree) environment.
- Must be able to withstand a hot (80+ degree) environment.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and E-verify.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate with all levels including management.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Decision making ability for the flagging of deviation from procedures.
- Able to work safely and set an example of safe working habits for their coworkers.
- Must wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to effectively train hourly personnel in processing and packaging departments.
