Overview
West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate LPN/RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team. In this vital leadership role, you’ll ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering a positive and supportive environment for staff and residents alike.
Base pay range: $72,500.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Location: Deltona, Florida •

Shift: Full-Time | Day Shift •
Salary: $72,500 - $85,000 (based on experience)
- Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to maintain exceptional care standards and efficient staffing.
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff while managing schedules to ensure proper coverage.
- Address and resolve personnel concerns while promoting teamwork and staff satisfaction.
- Provide hands-on training, evaluate nursing competencies, and encourage professional growth.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) documentation.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and the care team on discharge planning and overall care coordination.
- Represent the nursing department in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to facility-wide quality improvement initiatives.
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Florida.
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
