Delta County School District District Transportation Mechanic
8 hours/day 249 days/year
$21.42/hr + depending on experience

- ASE certification preferred
- CDL (with school bus rating) or ability to obtain after hire
- Strong knowledge of mechanics required
- Diesel engine knowledge preferred
- CDE Brake Inspector's Certificate and other school bus certifications preferred
- Fingerprint and background clearance
- Be willing to travel to all community bus locations to repair fleet
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must pass Fingerprint/Background Check - Drug Test and have or are willing to acquire a CDL License
