American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Room Nights position in Colorado, requiring active CO or compact RN licensure and at least 1 year of ER experience.
Details- Emergency Room (ER) department in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule working 3x12-hour shifts, including weekends
- 13-week contract
- Active RN license in the State of Colorado (CO state or compact license) currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of ER experience required; 2+ years of critical care nursing experience preferred
- Required certifications upon hire: BLS/BCLS and ACLS
- ENPC or PALS required within 6 months of hire; ENPC preferred
- TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year
- Specialty certification preferred
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
- Responsible for triaging patients and determining priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social needs
- Performs focused assessments of chief complaints in a timely manner per established triage guidelines
- Duties include moving patients, drawing blood samples, wound care, medication administration, and maintaining supplies
- Delivers care in accordance with hospital policies and the Nurse Practice Act
- Strong time management skills are essential in this fast-paced environment
