* Position Responsibilities:
** - Transport patients with care, considering their physical abilities relative to the exams requested.
- Utilize positioning aides to ensure high-quality patient examinations.
- Operate all CT-associated equipment with confidence and precision.
- Protect patient safety in alignment with X-Ray Department policies and procedures.
- Assist in the administration of contrast media as directed by the Radiologist.
- Take part in special procedures, enhancing your skills and experience.
- Contribute to the education of Radiology students through hands-on training.
- Practice sterile techniques and adhere to Universal Precautions consistently.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with X-Ray Department policies.
- Clean and prepare examination rooms following each procedure.
- Restock linen and supplies to ensure a smooth operational flow.
** CT Tech Required
Education & Experience:
** - Minimum of two years of previous experience preferred.
- Completion of formal radiology technology training from an AMA-approved institution.
- Current registration and certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT).
- Valid BLS Certification is required.
** Shift Information:** - WEEKEND SHIFT: SAT/SUN/MON DAYS: 3/12s.
** Minimum Years of
Experience:
** - Less than 1 year.
** Certifications/Requirements:** - ACLS - BLS/BCLS - ARRT(CT)
