M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Kîsik Aerial Survey Inc. is seeking a qualified aircraft maintenance engineer to support a small fleet of piston aircraft and provide aerial acquisition services throughout Western Canada. The position is based at Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB) in Delta, BC.

Engineers may be called upon for AOG situations during the operational summer months and will work regular day shifts during the fall/winter heavy maintenance season.

• Carry out maintenance and repair of aircraft and aeronautical products as instructed by the Director of Maintenance in accordance with company manuals and Transport Canada regulations.
• Mentor apprentices to ensure safety precautions are observed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and functional hangar and work area.
• Use appropriate manuals and resources in the work performed and supervised.

• Must hold a current M1 Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license.
• Experience with King Air, PA-31 Navajo, and single‑engine Cessnas is an asset.
• Good working knowledge of CARS.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptable, resourceful, and creative problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated high standards of professionalism and safety in all work‑related activities.
• Requires basic hand tools; specialty tools are supplied by the company.
