Role

Summary

The Service Technician will play a critical role in supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction by ensuring machinery is installed, serviced, and maintained to the highest standards. This role involves hands‑on equipment assembly, diagnostics, repairs, and customer training across a designated territory. You will be part of a dynamic service team, making impactful decisions that reflect efficient use of resources and deliver superior customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, upgrade, and repair industrial machinery at customer sites.
  • Provide comprehensive machine demonstrations, start‑ups, and customer training.
  • Stay up to date with equipment knowledge through training and self‑learning.
  • Complete work orders, time, and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and escale unresolved service issues when necessary.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure all issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in servicing machinery or equipment.
  • Post‑graduate certification in a related technical field.
  • Expertise in machinery electrics, electronics, PLCs, servo controls, and pneumatics.
  • Mechanical aptitude; CNC machinery and fabrication experience are assets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
