Come join the MAPEI company as a Sales Representative for our DIY division.
Under the responsibility of the Business Development Manager, the incumbent fulfills the responsibilities related to sales and representation of their territory.
Tasks and responsabilities:
Is responsible for the development and management of their territory and the sales budget according to the corporation's objectives through special presentations of current and new products in the markets;
Is responsible for representing the company to large retail stores;
Is responsible for product training, communication with customers regarding technical aspects of the products, problem-solving, and influencing customers' purchasing decisions;
Is responsible for reporting to management on the activities of their territory;
Regularly engages in prospecting activities;
Is responsible for providing the company with feedback on field tests of new formulas or prototypes;
Participates in the development of new products with product managers;
Performs any other related tasks.
Skills required :
High school diploma with 5 years of experience in sales or customer service or 5 to 10 years of experience in the flooring installation field (ceramic, carpet, vinyl, wood)
Language spoken and written :
English
Knowledge of industry standards, quality, and Mapei products
Mathematical skills and technical writing
Communication and negotiation skills
Perseverance
Able to work under pressure
Valid driver's license
