Golden West Baking is an English muffin and Bun products manufacturing located in Anacis Island, Delta. Sunday to Tuesday/Sunday to Wednesday 5:15am - 5:15pm (12 hour shifts)

The Divider Operator plays a vital role in our food manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and safe production of food products according to established quality and safety standards. This role involves operating production equipment, monitoring production processes, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the production area.

Operate the Bun Line Divider while keeping the area clean. Communicate with Muffin Divider #1. Follow Mixing Schedule. Follow the Formula book unless instructed by the shift supervisor.

• Complete Pre-Operational Checklist.
• Start, stop and adjust machines as necessary for optimum production.
• Maintain log sheets as required.
• Keep area organized, clean and sanitary. Empty catch trays, dust machines and sweep the floor during production when possible.
• Keep top surfaces of machines clear and clean.
• Clean all tools at beginning of shift and keep all tools in proper storage when not in use.
• Adhere strictly to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) outlined for working in a food processing plant.
• Assist in general cleaning of machinery and plant facility as assigned when production is stopped.
• Work as a team and cooperate with your fellow team members at all times.
• Fill flour use-bin daily.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensure the Proofer Pan Alarm is set up correctly for each pan.
• Ensure no double dough balls, or messy pans enter into the proofer.
• Check and record the dough ball weights for each dough (every 20 minutes)
• Recycle dough in the recycle bins as soon as possible.
• Report any Product Loss, Time Loss, QA Issues, or Mechanical Problems to the Shift Supervisor immediately.

• Authorized Scissor lift and high reach operation.
• Physically able to lift and handle up to 25 kg weights (Ingredient bags etc.) regularly.
• Communication skills

• Able to work in fast paced, high pressure environment
• Able to physically lift 25kg weight consistently
• Able to work in a warm environment (uniform, safety and work attire provided by employer)
• Work involves daily exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise.
• Work environment involves regular exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
• Personal protective equipment, as defined by C.H. Guenther and Son, will be provided
