Order Selector - Nights

Position Overview

Order Selector - Nights at Gordon Food Service - Canada. This position includes maintaining high performance standards and will be primarily responsible for material handling, order selection, and other warehouse functions as needed.

Schedule: 5 X 8 | Floater | 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada

• Starting rate of $26.43 per hour, with potential to go to a top rate of $35.79 per hour after completing 24 months

• Manually lift food service products (from 10-70 lbs) onto pallets, and prepare pallets for shipping to a customer location
• Accurately scan and select products using a computerized inventory system
• Operate power equipment safely, including electric pallet jacks
• Work in a variety of temperature zones including a freezer (-20°C), cooler, and dry goods areas. All warehouse employees must be prepared to work in all temperature zones
• Handle all types of food products including seafood, meats, dairy, produce, spices, beverages, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations and Food Safety programs
• Perform all other duties as required

• Ability to work independently, and assist team members when necessary
• Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
• Operate pallet jack safely and efficiently
• Must be able to work weekends and statutory holidays
