Position Summary
Gordon Food Service is seeking a Network Administrator, Associate to install, maintain, and administer the company's network facilities and services. This role involves performing or assisting with 2nd and 3rd level support within the Network domain and ensuring effective communication with all groups impacted by or impacting the Network services offered.

Location
The successful candidate should be able to work remotely 5 days a week with the opportunity to work from one of the Canadian DC's if desired.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assist in troubleshooting issues within the WAN and LAN.
Aid in performing new WAN circuit ordering and provisioning.
Assist in firewall administration and support.
Assist in RF design and maintenance.
Assist with authentication services administration and troubleshooting.
Utilize and maintain network monitoring applications.
Document all changes to the network environment.
Develop and maintain hardware and procedural standards for all facets of the network environment.
Maintain thorough knowledge of software and firmware revisions for all products controlled by the network domain.
Participate in the team’s on-call rotation schedule, typically 1 week every 4 weeks.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail
Skilled at building relationships, networking, and collaborating across teams
Ability to display good presentation, change and conflict management, facilitation, and collaboration abilities.
Commitment to meeting or exceeding personal and team objectives.
Experience & Competencies
Experienced in network administration and/or network support experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Familiarity with:
WAN and LAN network activities.
RF maintenance and support.
Cisco switches and routers.
Network monitoring applications.
Firewalls.
Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation
