Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly organized and collaborative Avionics NPI Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects for our client in Delta, BC. This role requires a strong understanding of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to define project objectives, manage cross-functional alignment, and drive successful delivery. The NPI Project Manager works closely with technical teams, business leaders, suppliers, and customers to ensure milestones are met on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Pay Rate: $ 38.00/hour
  • Location: Delta, BC
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 3-month contract with possibility of extension

Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
  • Define project scope, goals, risks, assumptions, roles, deliverables, and work breakdown structure.
  • Develop detailed project plans using approved tools and templates; monitor schedule, budget, and key performance metrics.
  • Lead, direct, and support cross-functional project teams; assign tasks, remove roadblocks, and ensure alignment.
  • Maintain clear communication schedules and provide frequent updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive project execution following the company's project management process.
Leadership & Coordination
  • Facilitate project meetings and support conflict resolution within operational teams.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Motivate team members and reinforce company culture, values, and performance expectations.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, cost, and timing objectives.
  • Support review and approval of design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
  • Monitor project team timesheets to support accurate project accounting.
  • Conduct post-project reviews with sponsors to confirm acceptance and lessons learned.
Continuous Improvement
  • Track KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly project status updates and escalate issues as needed.
  • Adjust project plans proactively to ensure successful completion.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, with 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing low to medium-complexity projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with design, procurement, contracts, and project accounting.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, problem-solving, and change management.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
  • Ability to obtain CGD clearance and verify employment eligibility.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Understanding of aerospace quality systems and terminology.
  • Eligible for P.Eng with EGBC.
  • PMP certification is an asset.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
  • Results-driven with excellent organization and time-management abilities.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of personnel, suppliers, and customers.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
