We are looking for creative, enthusiastic, high energy candidates who have experience working in a day camp setting or extensive experience working with children and youth ages 6 – 12 and are available to work June 22 through August 21, 2026 in our full day camp program. Working under the direction of a supervisor, the Summer Day Camp Leaders provide direct leadership, instruction, and supervision in a varied and comprehensive program for children ages 6 – 12 years in the area of leisure, hobbies, sports, performing arts, culture, fitness, socialization and outdoor activities.
We offer a fun, safe and inclusive Summer Day Camp and are committed to ensuring that every child in our programs has a positive recreation experience. Our Summer Day Camps are offered in a variety of facilities and parks in North Delta, Ladner, and Tsawwassen.
- Applicants must be available to work June 22 through August 21, 2026 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday;
- Applicants must be able to work in both North and South Delta areas;
- Applicants must have a valid Emergency First Aid or equivalent first aid certificate;
- Previous experience working with children in full day, full week settings;
- A valid Class 5 BC drivers license is considered an asset.
The City of Delta provides a competitive salary of $25.93 per hour + 12% in lieu of vacation, public holidays and benefits. Interested applicants are requested to apply by February 13, 2026.
