The Floor Tech will ensure that members receive the highest quality of service and facilities. This role is the face of the gym floor; you are the person a member sees when he or she is working out inside the facility. It is important that this person has a friendly demeanor with a great eye for detail. The Floor Tech is responsible for the overall upkeep of the fitness floor, equipment, and surrounding areas, walls & mirrors.

Job Expectations:

• Work your scheduled shifts and arrive on time every shift
• Arrive for your shift in full uniform: brand approved shirt, khaki or black athletic pants, and sneakers (be well groomed, neat, and presentable)
• Aim to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity
• Make eye contact with customers
• Smile authentically at customers
• Speak enthusiastically to customers
• Be attentive and courteous to customers
• Keep a sense of urgency and hustle when it comes to helping customers
• Keep a positive, upbeat personality
• Be able to communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively
• Active CPR/AED certification preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintenance of Retro Fitness outlet main floor
• Testing equipment for efficiency
• Stocking of products/items
• Lubricating and greasing of circuit training equipment
• Reporting any facility issues to Management/Ownership
• Spot cleaning of walls, mirrors, windows, & diamond plating
• Re-racking of weights
• Disinfecting equipment and upholstery
• Facility Dusting
• Following company policies & procedures

Compensation: $13.00 per hour
