As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.
- Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate parties as directed by Allied Universal.
- Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site‑specific guidelines and procedures.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
