About This Position

Capital One Café is seeking full‑time and part‑time baristas to join our team in Delray Beach, FL. The Café serves espresso drinks, coffee drinks, and related food and beverage items to a diverse customer base. Candidates should be enthusiastic about customer service, ready to work flexible hours, and eager to maintain a clean and welcoming service area.

• Prepare espresso orders and other coffee beverages for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS device; accept cash and credit card payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintain proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers.
• Assume a sales advocate role by establishing good communication and assisting the buying decision‑making process.
• Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards; serve food neatly and attractively per standard.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous barista, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Open availability required. Full‑time and part‑time schedules will vary; applicants must be flexible to meet demand.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, courteous customer focus.
