- Assume leadership of dining services staff as Executive Chef when the Account Manager is absent, ensuring food quality, inventory, safety and customer service standards meet federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist the Account Manager in maintaining Décor income and expenditure records, food, supplies, personnel, and equipment reports for HCSG and facility management.
- Assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff, including touring the kitchen to assess work quality using QCIs, and perform essential duties of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher when necessary.
- Communicate all directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
- Utilize protective gear and safely handle cleaning solutions, report equipment or product needs, and maintain safety and quality guidelines.
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance, complete assigned cleaning or dining duties on schedule, and respond promptly to the paging system.
- Represent HCSG positively, being courteous and cooperative with supervisors, co‑workers, and client staff.
- Interact with residents, staff, and facility guests in a positive, pleasant, and tactful mannerpan.
- Positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions for routine tasks.
- After training, employ leadership skills to manage responsibilities independently without injury to self or others.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Specialized training in food service management and nutrition desirable.
- Two years of quantity food production/service, dining/nutrition, and personnel supervision experience desirable.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and completing web‑based reports.
- May be required to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
- Current Serv Safe or Food Handler certification required by law.
- Must be available to work as scheduled.
- Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, or customer policy.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Continuous performance of routine, repetitive tasks.
- Work around food and cleaning products.
- Must live in the service area.
