Job Summary

X is redefining precision investing across structured products, ETFs, private markets, and new-issue and secondary fixed income. We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to help drive our engagement and results with financial advisors and institutional investors. Your overarching goal is to support our internal and external sales teams in the design and execution of industry conference booths, client educational programs, meetings, outings, and parties.

We need a proactive, energetic, and organized go-getter who is comfortable communicating at all levels, from our vendors to our executives to our top customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal clients to deliver events that WOW, while meeting objectives for delivering leads and engagement
  • Take full responsibility for all aspects of planning and logistics for events held locally, nationally, and virtually
  • Ship event materials and supplies, including packaging, labeling, and ensuring delivery
  • Secure event venues, negotiate contracts, plan menus
  • Design and produce event-related print materials such as nametags and agendas
  • Draft, proof, schedule, and send save the dates, invitations, reminders, confirmations, thank yous, and surveys in digital and print format
  • Collaborate with our social media manager to promote events
  • Proofread, print, and bind event presentations
  • Provide follow-up reporting and analytics for each event
  • Manage and organize an inventory of promotional items
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate clearly with all levels of the organization
  • Assess and anticipate potential issues and opportunities for growth and improvement within the marketing function
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in a corporate setting
  • A proven track record of managing both small and large events
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines across multiple concurrent projects
  • Polished interpersonal communication skills – both written and verbal – with a customer-service mentality
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze event data and provide actionable insights
  • A passion for staying organized and paying attention to detail
  • An obsession for brand consistency and making us look good
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with Canva design helpful
Physical Demands
  • This position requires long periods of sitting behind a desk, performing tasks on computer. Some lifting of up to 30 pounds may be required for mailings/packages.
Work Environment
  • The majority of the job function is performed in a professional office setting requiring normal safety precautions.
  • Up to 20 nights of travel may be required per year
