The Practice Manager for Mosca Plastic Surgery supports overall operations of the Surgical and Medspa business, developing and implementing corporate strategy and vision within the practice. This position plays a key part in the day‑to‑day function of the overall business, overseeing business operations to maintain a steady workflow of uninterrupted patient care and service. The Manager will be responsible for the management of the P&L, local HR management, business development initiatives, cash handling, and compliance monitoring.
The Practice Manager will focus on revenue growth across multiple lines of business and act as an ethical leader and advocate for the team and patients.
- Reports directly to the Vice President of Operations
- Manage the financial success of the business; P&L oversight driving top and bottom‑line growth with an emphasis on managing to an annual budget
- Routine KPI reporting and operational/financial variance analysis
- Practice level labor management, including growth and development of the team, performance management, and new hire onboarding and training
- Collaborate with Marketing to implement effective campaigns that increase appointment volume, cross‑sell services, and enhance market share and reputation within the community
- Clinic management including process flow and control
- Inventory management, including cost minimization
- Manage billing and accounts receivable
- Schedule capital expenditures for the practice and manage equipment repairs, requests, and warranty management
- Manage patient medical records and ensure the highest quality of accuracy and compliance
- Schedule needs for staff and doctors to optimize schedule/capacity utilization
- Promote and ensure a patient‑centered environment
- Facilitate resolutions for patient problems that cannot be resolved by doctors or staff
- Change management of new systems and processes
- Review and approve expenses in the AP payment system (Stampli)
- Support month‑end close and annual audit requests
- Conduct monthly business reviews and annual budgeting
- Establish a weekly and monthly communication cadence with all teams within the practice
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills and training exercises
- Stay current with developments in plastic surgery, healthcare management, and related areas; encourage ongoing education and professional development for staff members
- Foster positive relationships with patients, referring physicians, and the local community; participate in networking events and professional organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or relevant education
- 5+ years of management experience within an aesthetics practice or healthcare group
- Deep understanding of practice metrics and the ability to review data and apply changes
- Customer service–focused approach
- Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and prioritization
- Professional and positive attitude that is people‑oriented with good interpersonal skills
- Team‑oriented with the ability to support a team‑based culture
- Experience with Nextech a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to temporarily work on‑site (Delray Beach, FL) and remotely (hybrid position)
