Per Diem Days. Day shifts, evenings until 7pm, Saturdays, PD. FTE 0.012, to support Women’s imaging service line and to work extended hours on Saturdays 8am-1pm.
Position SummaryUnder the direction of a Radiologist and the Director of Imaging, performs technical duties required in a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided invasive procedures. Operates imaging equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications. Follows protocols for Imaging physician-ordered exams.
Education- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology Program
- Registered by the ARDMS in either abdomen or OB
- 2 years’ experience preferred in ultrasound imaging
- Certified in Vascular (RVT) preferred
- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Must be RVT certified within a year of employment in this position
- Breast Registry ARDMS preferred but not required
- Basic computer skills
