Position Summary
Provides services to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff. Responsible for providing all aspects of pharmaceutical care assuring a positive patient outcome. The Pharmacists must be skilled in screening for all age/dosage/disease dependent variations and be alert for improper dosages, drug interactions, and play a major role in drug monitoring. This person shall possess excellent communication skills and be an active participant with physicians and fellow health care workers.
Responsibilities- Performs duties to assure quality drug therapy.
- Performs quality assurance procedures as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals and as assigned by the pharmacy director, pharmacy manager, and/or clinical coordinator.
- Maintains education standards as required by state law and hospital policy and procedures.
- Works with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to maintain collaborative relationship with pharmacy.
- Minimum: BS-Pharmacy

Previous hospital pharmacy experience. - Preferred:
Three (3) years of acute care hospital pharmacy.
- Previous experience in hospital or related health facility
