Position: Environmental Services Supervisor
Location: Delray Beach, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour

West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Services Supervisor to lead our housekeeping, laundry, and central supply operations. This leadership role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment for residents, staff, and visitors while fostering teamwork and operational excellence.

• Supervise Environmental Services staff, including housekeeping, laundry, and central supply
• Hire, train, schedule, assign duties, and conduct performance evaluations
• Develop and implement systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of departmental operations
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and proper use of cleaning supplies, chemicals, paper goods, and equipment
• Maintain accurate departmental records, reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with facility leadership on budgeting, departmental goals, and quality initiatives
• Participate in disaster preparedness planning and emergency drills
• Serve on facility committees including QAPI, Infection Control, and department head meetings
• Promote residents’ rights, safety, dignity, and comfort at all times

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in environmental services within a skilled nursing or healthcare setting
• Experience supervising housekeeping and/or laundry operations required
• Central supply experience preferred
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory standards (OSHA, CDC, state regulations)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, and regulations
• Professional, tactful approach to sensitive situations
• Physical ability to move throughout the facility and perform job-related tasks
• High school diploma required;
  Associate Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
