Front Desk Associate – Planet Fitness

Join the Planet Fitness team in Delray Beach, FL as a Front Desk Associate. In this role, you will offer outstanding customer service and create a welcoming, judgement‑free experience for all members and guests.

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with check‑in and any questions.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone®, interact with members on the floor, and support their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
• Resolve member concerns and, when necessary, refer issues to a Manager.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and provide assistance to callers.
• Perform membership related functions such as sign‑ups, contact/billing updates, cancellations, collecting unpaid balances and transferring memberships.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours; assess membership needs.
• Execute retail transactions accurately and work toward sales goals.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized environment: exercise equipment, spa amenities, restrooms, communal spaces, and club areas.
• Report maintenance, safety or cleanliness issues and prompt resolution of any equipment problems.

• 6‑12 months experience in a customer‑service environment (preferred).
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Willingness to become CPR/AED certified (training provided).
• Basic computer proficiency.

• Continual standing and moving throughout the club to accomplish tasks.
• Communicating in person or by phone throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Movement involving bending, twisting and turning.
