Position: Montessori Primary 3-6 Guide (Certified)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Primary 3-6 Guide to join our dedicated team for the  school year. Emerging Minds Montessori Academy is an authentic and accredited Montessori school serving children ages 2 through grade 8 in Palm Beach County, and we are committed to providing an enriching, child-centered educational environment that nurtures the development of the whole child.

Position:

Montessori Primary 3-6 Guide

Start Date:

February 2026, for the  School Year

Qualifications:

  • Montessori Certification (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) for Primary (ages 3-6)
  • Experience working in the Montessori Primary classroom with children ages 3-6
  • In-depth knowledge of Montessori philosophy, curriculum, and methodology
  • Classroom management skills to foster a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and staff
  • Passion for child development, fostering independence, creativity, and a love for learning

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Physically able to perform light labor (lifting, bending, reaching, and navigating stairs)
  • Completion of 45 DCF training hours
  • Ability to pass State and National background checks
  • Must meet all training and eligibility requirements set by the state of Florida

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain an organized, neat, and well-equipped Montessori environment that meets the developmental needs of students
  • Guide children in their academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Foster a love of learning and an atmosphere of mutual respect and collaboration
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans, tailored to the needs of each child
  • Work alongside the floor and team lead guides to ensure cohesive and effective classroom management
  • Work closely with parents, staff, and administration to support each child's development
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's community
