Buyer Selections Coordinator - interior design specialist; Construction Residential Community

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Part-Time Buyer Selections Coordinator to support home buyers through the design and personalization process for their new construction homes in boutique residential communities in Palm Beach County and Broward County.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, understands interior and exterior upgrade selections, and can manage timelines, documentation, pricing, and scope coordination with precision.

• Guide home buyers through the selections and upgrade process from contract to final approval
• Coordinate buyer selections across categories such as:
  • Flooring, tile, and wall finishes
  • Cabinetry and millwork
  • Countertops and backsplash packages
  • Plumbing fixtures and bath upgrades
  • Appliance upgrades and kitchen enhancements
  • Low-voltage, AV, and smart home features
  • Lighting and electrical upgrades
  • Summer kitchens and outdoor living options
  • Pool and backyard upgrade packages
• Schedule and assist with buyer design appointments and selection meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation of selections, pricing, and change orders
• Understand the underlying cost of each option and confirm the correct price to the buyer
• Work closely with the Project Manager and construction team to verify the proper scope of work and incremental upgrade costs
• Serve as the liaison between buyers, vendors, construction, and internal ownership
• Ensure selections are finalized on schedule and aligned with construction milestones
• Support a high-touch, luxury customer experience throughout the process

• 2+ years of experience in residential design coordination, buyer selections, or new home construction
• Strong organizational and client-facing communication skills
• Familiarity with finish selections, upgrade pricing, and change-order workflows
• Ability to manage multiple buyers and deadlines simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and cost awareness
• Proficiency in Excel and construction/design documentation systems

• Prior work with a home builder, developer, or residential GC
• Experience in luxury or semi-custom home communities
