JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Supply Coordinator’s main responsibilities will be to support the supply team by ensuring a consistent supply of raw product. Working alongside the Regional Supply Manager, Supply Managers (HQ), Growers, and Suppliers to maintain supply plans, harvest forecasts, and monitor product availability. This role involves frequent travel to supplier and grower locations and requires strict attention to safety and quality standards.
This position will help prepare regular reports on crop volumes, pricing, and availability, evaluate supplier performance, and assist in developing new suppliers to meet Pero’s quality requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in building strong supplier relationships within the agricultural industry.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Supply Managers to procure consistent raw product to meet annual needs.
- Assist the Regional Supply Manager with preparing updated reports of volume, price, and availability for weekly review of their assigned commodity.
- Work with Supply Managers to set up harvest forecasts for Pero crops as well as supplier crops to help maintain consistent supply throughout the year.
- Asses suppliers based on their ability to supply product in accordance with the organization’s requirements, such as quality, contract compliance, and food safety compliance.
- Evaluate and advise on supplier performance and supply risk.
- Understand and apply the quality specifications for each crop being procured.
- Analyze data and trends to support supply continuity decisions.
- Facilitate the development of new suppliers in collaboration with quality assurance in order to help them to reach the level of excellence required by company standards.
Required Experience and Training
- Produce/Farming Experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Industry Experience
- Experience in procurement and/or transportation is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Combination of outdoor agricultural settings and indoor office/workstation environments.
- Regular presence in:
- Fields, greenhouses, or farm facilities
- Packing sheds, coolers, and storage areas
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and sun
