Responsibilities and Duties
  • Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles
  • Completes preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation, wheel balancing, replacing filters, etc.
  • Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.
  • Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
  • Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
  • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Good knowledge of automobiles
  • Effective analytical and communication skills
  • Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Obtain and keep manufacture certifications up to date
  • Perform Multi-point inspections 100% of the time
  • Ability to work some scheduled Saturday’s
  • Service CLOSED on Sundays

All applicants must pass pre-employment testing in order to qualify for employment. Pre-employment testing includes a successful background check and drug testing.
