Responsibilities Manage the Control Tower Team to achieve agreed performance targets and standards.
Liaise with operations managers/KAMs to understand and deliver their expectations.
Measure the performance of the control tower.
Design and update the most efficient transport optimization capability for customer operations.
Coach and develop team members to support succession planning.
Implement new and existing customers onto the TMS. Identify new transport opportunities within TMS for commercial development.
Manage GPS vendor, logins, report development, and customization.
Develop solutions using GPS and support the Operations Manager in customer interface.
Requirements Experience- 7-12yrs in transportation operations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Excellent IT skills (spreadsheets, word processing, interface, and GPS)
Knowledge of Transport Scheduling and Database Systems
