About

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join the Rhenus Group. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods across various transportation modes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. You will work closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics operations, resolve issues proactively, and maintain high standards of service quality.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in relevant software applications such as TMS (Transportation Management System) and ERP systems. The ability to analyze data, solve problems efficiently, and work collaboratively across diverse teams is crucial.

Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods across various modes, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
Manage documentation related to shipments, customs clearance, and compliance requirements.
Identify and resolve logistical issues promptly to prevent delays or additional costs.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and operational activities.
Optimize logistics processes through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the development of logistics strategies that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across all operations.
