Supporting Actions
Turnaround of ships

Pre plan of vessel considering tide flow in mind and next vessel in same tide, commencement of loading-discharging timely to get expected completion, timely berthing, co-ordination with

SH/HOD, concern plant departments, port control , agents and surveyor to achieve same.
Maintain ship wise activities
All time log entry in marine register, record keeping of ship-shore documentations, preparation of vessel departure report containing all parameters, compiled and statics of marine data
Monitoring of marine operation
Co-ordinate with chief officer / master for loading plan and pattern for the timely completion, loading of cargo as per DWT and draft restriction, to regulate appropriate ballast and air draft to minimize delays / stoppages/low feed rate, to ensure maximum loading rate for fast turnaround, to assist chief officer during trimming draft survey, to load maximum cargo considering next port draft restriction, to co-ordinate with stevedore team during discharge operation to get timely completion with efficient manner.

Service Entry and verification of all service invoices - vessel wise- received from GPPL, GMB, CHA,VTMS .
5.  Regulatory Compliance
Ensure that all vessels calling at jetty are complied with ISPS code, maintaining jetty security as per ISPS level and code, Preparation of audit of ISPS and NSPC
6  Safety and Working
Environment
Safety of jetty and equipment's, timely checking of bollard and fenders /SO/WTI - input if any non-conformity, safety of personnel working on jetty.
